My Food Adventures: Barrio Fiesta, Philippines
Barrio Fiesta has been a staple in the Philippine restaurant scene for decades. You can find branches all over the country and even at some international locations. They serve a wide variety of Filipino favorites. If I wanted to introduce someone to Filipino food, Barrio Fiesta would be one of the first places I'd go. Pictured here are the Tokwa't Baboy (tofu and pork), Kare-kare (ox tripe stew), Grilled Stuffed Squid, and the Tortang Talong (eggplant omelet).
