Security forces teargassed protesters who had reportedly attempted to access the construction site of Turin-Lyon high-speed railway in the Chiomonte commune in Turin. The protest came after Italian Prime Minister Giuseppe Conte reversed his initial position on the railway construction, greenlighting the project's continuation. 'No TAV,' the group behind the demonstration, is a movement set up to counter the construction of various high-speed railway lines in Italy and France.
