Assalamualaikum.. How are you Steemians friends in the Steem For Bangladesh Community?, I'm fine here.. Happy Eid al-Fitr to all of you, especially Muslims.. 🙏

In this week's Challenge I want to participate in a very beautiful topic. And this is related to the seasons that occur throughout the world.

How many seasons are there in your country? Which is your favorite and why?

Indonesia is a country that has a tropical climate. Here we experience only two seasons. Dry season and rainy season. These are the seasons that occur in one year.

We are currently experiencing the dry season with temperatures reaching 36°C. Of course this is a hot temperature above average. It's not a win-win situation, so I don't think it's my favorite season.

However, I can always get used to any conditions and even bad weather conditions. We are used to these two seasons.

In the rainy season we often experience floods and landslides in several highland areas. But once again, we must always be alert and careful when the dry season and rainy season reach their peak.

If there was one season you wanted to spend forever, which season would you skip? Explain why.

I often hear about some seasons in other countries and that doesn't happen in our country. For example winter and spring. These are the two seasons that didn't happen here.

If I could experience the beauty of spring, this would sound more appealing to me. To be honest, I also don't know exactly how spring occurs and what the weather conditions are like.

I can only guess and imagine that in spring the weather will be even more beautiful and pleasant. I can imagine how the leaves would fall with the slightest breeze. It will definitely be very interesting to get through this season.

Describe a traditional or special activity that people in your country do during a particular season.

I don't see any special activities carried out by the people here to welcome the rainy and dry seasons.

In the rainy season, people who work as farmers will usually go down to the rice fields to plant rice. Likewise with other farmers. Likewise with fish and shrimp farmers.

They will be more alert in December because this is the peak of the rainy season. There have been many cases of flooding in several areas this month.

Are there any special foods or drinks that people in your country like most during certain seasons? If yes, what is it and why?

During the dry season with hot temperatures like now, people prefer to consume cold and refreshing drinks. On average, food and drink stalls will provide cold drinks or mixed with ice.

Meanwhile, in the rainy season, people will choose warm food and drinks. We are used to enjoying rainy season drinks such as ginger tea or in local language we call it "Bandrek".

Meanwhile, for rainy season food, we usually consume fast food such as fried noodles, meatball noodles and various fried foods. This aims to keep the body warm.

But in general we do not have special food for the rainy season or dry season. All the food and drinks we consume depend on certain conditions and situations.

That's my participation, I hope to be able to invite @patjewell @abdul-rakib @abdullahw2.

Hello dear @rumaisha
Your eloquent portrayal of Indonesia's two seasons paints a vivid picture of life amidst nature's ebb and flow. The desire to experience the enchanting allure of spring reflects a longing for the unfamiliar beauty beyond one's own climate. Your description of traditional activities and seasonal preferences in food and drinks showcases the rich tapestry of cultural practices woven into the fabric of daily life. Truly captivating and insightful.

Sangat bermanfaat ulasan anda dan terima kasih atas kata-kata baiknya, saya berharap anda selalu sukses dan berkah🙏.

If there was one season you wanted to spend forever, which season would you skip? Explain why.

I understand what you mean about wanting to experience different seasons. In my opinion, experiencing spring sounds magical. I remember visiting a country with distinct seasons and witnessing the beauty of spring for the first time. The blossoming flowers and mild weather were truly enchanting. It's natural to be curious about seasons that we don't experience in our own country.

I don't see any special activities carried out by the people here to welcome the rainy and dry seasons.

That's interesting to hear. In my experience, different cultures have unique traditions to welcome each season. I remember attending festivals in various countries where people celebrated the arrival of a new season with music, dance, and special rituals. It's fascinating how traditions vary from one place to another.

During the dry season with hot temperatures like now, people prefer to consume cold and refreshing drinks. On average, food and drink stalls will provide cold drinks or mixed with ice.

I can relate to that! In hot weather, nothing beats a cold drink to cool down. I remember when I visited tropical countries during the dry season, I would often crave for icy beverages like fresh fruit juices or chilled coconut water. It's refreshing and helps beat the heat.

All the best

Greetings my dear @rumaisha

In your country country you have only two seasons just like my oun country Nigeria, the seasons are dry season and rainy season. The dry season brings scorching temperatures while the rainy season can lead to floods and landslides. Your People engage in activities such as farming during these seasons. Cold drinks are preferred in the dry season, while warm drinks like ginger tea are enjoyed during the rainy season.

Benarkah?
