Moments from the Streets of Dhaka and Saidpur
Over the past few days, I have captured quite a number of street photographs. I genuinely enjoy photography, especially street photography, but due to a busy routine, I often don’t get enough time to take photos. Today, I am sharing some of those street photographs with you, which were taken from different parts of our country. Most of these photos were captured in Dhaka and Saidpur.
Both Dhaka and Saidpur have many busy roads. As Dhaka is the capital city, its roads are relatively wider and always crowded with vehicles and people. On the other hand, the roads in Saidpur are comparatively narrower. However, both cities experience heavy crowds, as Saidpur is also a densely populated area
I personally enjoy walking along the footpaths in Dhaka. However, most of the time I travel by rickshaw or Uber, because walking on Dhaka’s roads often feels unsafe. You never know when a vehicle might suddenly come too close. In contrast, walking on the roads of Faridpur feels much more pleasant, as the streets are often less crowded and calmer.
Whether it is Dhaka or Saidpur, the roads around the markets clearly reflect people’s busy lifestyles. You can observe different kinds of people, various professions, and countless small businesses. Street photography allows us to notice these everyday stories, helping us understand life from a closer and more realistic perspective.
