Jungle Ma Steemin' in Costa Rica!

HOLA Steemit community!

I’ll do a quick rundown about how I arrived to my current location! I was born in Russia, was adopted into the United States by my wonderful family, grew up in Virginia, found my family in Russia at 16, went back to meet them at age 18 and 23 (I’ll write a future post on that nsane experience), graduated with a degree in social work, worked as a social worker, one day woke up and jumped off the hamster wheel by moving to Costa Rica. I have been here since September of 2015. I moved here having no idea of the CRAZY ride it would take me on. I am currently learning how to MOM as I gave birth to my daughter, Kseñia, this past April 22nd! She is my little RusTica and has become my world! Half Russian, half Tica (Tica is the name for a female Costa Rican).

I’ll be posting about travel, relationships, my attempt at conscious parenting, health, keeping this little person alive, our adventures, my failures, and other quirky experiences!

I am also looking forward to reading all of the amazing work that is being produced by other community members!
