Taking pictures of sunrise and sunset (actually there is no difference from the side of photography, which is different just sunrise cooler and loner than sunset, and the one rises and the other drowns he he he). Preparation required of course is checking the location in the previous day, the direction of the sun and so forth. The main equipment needed is a camera, a tripod, and a flashlight.

After arriving at the location, the first thing to do of course looking for a good location and safe to take pictures. Once found, just plug the camera on a tripod. If it can not be the opposite, if the trigger tripod pairs first we usually have lazy move to find a better posetion.

The camera mode I use is manual mode (M). Make sure the AUTO ISO is in OFF condition. Loss dong, if it turns AUTO ISO camera choose ISO too high because the lighting field is not so bright. After that I will set a low ISO, around 100/200 (depending on camera respectively). With low ISO, the picture quality is best

My favorite opening is about f / 8 to f / 16. With a relatively small opening, the visual space is large and the wide view can be all sharp. After that, I just set the shutter speed until the lightmeter fell at the zero point when I press the shutter / shutter button. Shutter speed will fall more slowly than one second just before sunrise.
