A sidestep to French wine - ST EMILION - GRAND CRU
I have a big preference for Italian wines. I find the heavy wines with nice aftertaste very nice.
In French wines I often taste a dry aftertaste. That is not something I really like.
But sometimes you just have to try something again. And in this case I bought a box of St Emilion Grand Cru 2015 last weekend.
The sommelier of the wholesaler advised me specifically. And even with the addition that if I can not get used to it I can of course bring back the wines.
I will not let that tell me twice! I took a box because 1 or 2 bottles of wine are of course far too little to drink with like-minded people.
In the meantime 2 bottles have already been emptied and to full satisfaction.
So you see that you have to try things that you have renounced in the past once in a while!
