Today i am going to participate in the Home Work Task of Season 5 Week 7 Which is "Waves Platform" given by the Professor @imagen.

I am very excited to attempt this homework task and, I would like to say thanks to Professor @imagen on his remarkable efforts in Crypto Academy.

In simple words Leased Proof of stake is a variant of Proof-of-stake deployed by the waves network. As we know that chances of node to validate a block and gets accredited with rewards increases with the holdings of the native token so large token holders get tokens from small token holders.

Thus, we can say the nodes on the network that have small staking and thus are not eligible to partake in validation of block lease out their holdings to nodes that are eligible to increase their chances of validating a block.

This consensus mechanism is deployed on platforms that require full nodes to validate transactions but allow every user to participate in the network.

Difference between PoS and LPoS

Waves is a decentralized exchange which allows you to trade and Invest Crypto Currencies. Being a decentralized exchange, it ensures complete anonymity and transparency and do not ask for KYC.

The main functions you can perform the following functions

Buy and sell crypto
it like many other centralized exchanges allow you to buy and sell crypto with your native currency.

Trade and invest coins
it allow you to earn profits by investments and trading coins.

Completely decentralized
it is completely decentralized so you are completely in control of your funds.

Available all the time
since it is online you can access it any time you want.

In the network you have the following features

The “buy crypto” option allows you to buy coins such as the USDN, BTC,EGG, OTC etc. with a variety of native currencies. In the screenshot you can see the area to enter the amount and select the native token.

The “trading option” you have spot trading swapping options. In the spot trading you see a price action chart similar to Binance and other exchanges.

The “swapping feature” on the other hand allows swapping two stable currencies.

The “pool feature” allows you to hold tokens in the pools and earn rewards. Here you can see a number of pools available on the wave’s platform. The different pools generate different incomes based on the APY.

The “Investment option” allows you to have insight into the ongoing pools details, APYs subscription period, and all earning features available in the exchange. Here you can also find cool earning opportunities with Algo Trading that offers high APY.

The investment modalities that are available on the platform include liquidity pools, Algorithmic trading, LP staking and Lambo investments.

3.1) Describe the process. Show screenshots

1. Go to Binance wallet and in spot trading option select waves.
2. Select WAVES/USDT pair and enter the number of waves to buy.
3. Click on buy and waves will be purchased.
4. Following are the order details.

3.2) Show how the process is carried out to transfer the asset to the official Waves platform. (The demonstration is mandatory but the transfer is not)

Go to your waves.exchange and login to fetch your wallets address.

Now open binance and open waves token and click on withdraw then paste this address there and click on withdraw.

At the time of writing the WX token is price at around 1.79$ and the market cap of the token is $11,217,424.

The function of WX token in the Waves ecosystem are

1. WX works similar in Waves as cake works in Pancake swap.
2. WX is used in pools and holding them allows you earn rewards.
3. By looking in the assets and contributing to the liquidity on the network WX token can be used to earn income as a share of transaction fees.
4. It is used as a means of paying the transaction fees in fact there are discounts on trading fees when you pay by the native token.
5. With the WX token you get access to all the premium features on the platform.

Waves Ducks is an NFT game that allows entertainment and earning opportunity. It allows you to build your own ecosystem also known as the DUCK empire and earn up to 287% APY. All the ducks in the game are valuable collectibles and have a market value. These NFTs can also be used to earn money on trading them.

To assess you need to acquire the EGG tokens. There are two ways to acquire EGG tokens by directly buying them from our native token or winning these in different challenges.

The EGG tokens will then be swapped with unique tokens which all have different values and these ducks are then fed to get more ducks. There are many features on the Ducks Waves to explore visit wavesducks.com

In the My ducks option you see your ducks all your collection. Or ducks that you have put to sale or that are contesting or sent to farming etc.

In the marketplace you see a market of ducks for sale. You have various categories based on your likeness.

In the play to earn option we see various farms option to choose to play. We can choose any of these farms to send our ducks to for contest.

Summarizing the whole post, we studied about the Leased Proof of stake consensus and the differences it has with proof-of-stake consensus mechanism. We also shed light on the concept of full nodes and how small token holders on the wave’s ecosystem lease their tokens to full nodes to indirectly partake in the mining process. We then explored the waves platform and the Ducks waves.
