The Diary Game : 08/08/2022 || A Stressful Monday

It’s a great day and a new week but as l always say, Mondays are like extended weekend to me. I have no lecture for the whole day, but this day was so stressful that I was even busier than those who have 7 credit hours lecture today.

In the morning after I was done with my Fajr prayer, I went for an run 🏃‍♂️ just to keep myself healthy. After the run I freshen up and prepared myself a nice breakfast. I prepare this breakfast once in awhile as the economy is very hard here. I toasted two eggs 🥚 with bread 🥯 and fetched small quantity of beans stew 🍲 I prepared yesterday. It was a smooth beginning for the day.

When I was done taken my breakfast, it was still 8:30 am and I needed to work on my final year project. I network was bad and so I couldn’t get access to internet connection. I had to pause working on my project and waiting for internet access, while waiting I watched some series on my laptop, (prison break). It’s very interesting movie.

It wasn’t long enough and the network was back, I had internet access and so started working on my project. My project topic is women right management system, and so I needed to develop a system where women and witnesses can lodge a complaint about women rights violence. I wrote the codes and create my database but the system wasn’t working.

I had to start over the whole process again, rewriting the codes, creating and importing my database. It took me several hours to get things done, but it was worth it because it’s my final year project. It’s a website that hasn’t been hosted yet, so I used xampp to host the system.

When I was done with my project system, I had a parcel 📦 to take form the Navrongo station. They called me few minutes later to come for it. It was the VVIP station which is few mile away from my hostel, I took a bike from a friend and went for it.

I was finally relieved at 4:30 pm. I had to combined Asr and Zuhr prayers. I was very hungry and tired and so needed food urgently. I wasn’t in the position to cook as it will waste more time. I went to a kenke seller near my hostel for some kenke and fish.

Though I was very tired but I went to the gym at 5:30 pm for personal workout 🏋️‍♀️. It’s something I do on a daily routine and can afford to miss it. I came back to the hostel and freshen up, find some food and went to campus for preparation towards tomorrow’s lectures.
