It's another big week of releases this coming Wednesday, and my wallet is going to hurt. Just once, why can't there be a week where I only want to grab two, maybe three comics? You know, the weeks where there aren’t animation variants or Artgerms flying around. There are lots of comics to pick up, so here we go:

Run to the store to get this one Wednesday! Ebay preorders are already in the $20-$25 USD range. I got lucky and found 2 at cover prices last week on Ebay. I dare say this could be this year's Batgirl 23, but that's just a guess. And remember, I thought my 21 litecoins last year at this time would get me to Costa Rica, so I really have no idea what's going on in respect to money. Still, I'd highly recommend you get this one if you can. I'm not a huge Harley fan, but I'm keeping this one long term.

Miles Morales 2 : Spiderman 1:25 Variant

This one is pretty cool; I'm not getting it but there are presale values >$30 USD already. I won’t be getting one, but Miles seems primed to take on a larger role thanks to the Spiderverse film.

Rags 3 Exposed Variant

I’m not sure what to think about Rags. I listened/watched an interesting interview conducted by ComicTom 101 and the creators of Rags and Key Collector Comics. I’m not sure what to think of the situation, but I’ve stayed away from this series.

Captain Marvel 1 Adam Hughes 1:150 Variant

Another one that is way too expensive for me, but this sold out straight away online last week. $150? That’s a lot of other comic books that I could buy, not to mention getting that Batgirl 23.

I love this cover. One I'll likely get slabbed when I finally decide to send in my comics for grading. Plus the story is about of the origin of Professor Pyg. Can't wait! I'm still trying to get my hands on Detective Comics 666, which I believe is the Professor's first appearance. I'm also picking up the cover A, because that cover is pretty damn cool too.

I'm enjoying Morrison's take on Hal Jordan so far. Cover A looks like the Lantern meets some type of cosmic deity. I wonder if Morrison actually met this deity when he was finding the secret of the Universe? We'll find out.

Friendly Neighborhood Spider-Man 1 Artgerm Variant

Artgerm strikes again with this beautiful Spider-man cover. I'm hoping this series is good too. I'm also going to get the following covers because I do love my Spider-Man art.

PS: I now own all the Animation variants, but have yet to see the movie. I must be the only Spider-Man fan in the world who has yet to see it.

I bought this one because I liked the sketch look to it. I haven't kept up with my Green Arrow very well, and even gave up on the show two seasons ago; this one has sold out online, so it might have some long term value.

Martian Manhunter 2 Middleton Variant

I actually enjoyed the first issue of this new mini-series. That "sex" scene between the Manhunter and his wife was super weird, but fantastic. This Middleton is also super weird and fantastic. I'm getting it.

I believe this issue is to be taken from the perspective of the symbiote as it travels through San Francisco. This could be an interesting read, and I really love this cover. Venom looks insane.

I believe Spidergeddon is over, and Gwen returns to her universe with a new power. I like the look of this cover too; I’ve been catching up on Batgirls for my daughter, but might add Spider-Gwen to the catalog too for her. Good luck on me getting her first appearance, though. I might need my Bitcoin to get back into the $20k range for that (good luck on that, too).

Conspiracy #2 Doppleganger Cover !

I still haven’t received my issue number 1, but I’m sure it’s on the way courtesy of the US Postal Service. Or not. Either way, I’m curious how dopplegangers play into this web of conspiracy. Are we getting into lizard people so soon? Or something more? I can’t wait!

That’s it for this week. Secret credit card is certainly required for me. Maybe next week can be a breather for me.
