Chicken Biryani Easy recipe

Who does not love a plate full of Biryani????

Biryani is dish,Really needs no introduction,its really amazing,very delicious,nice aroma and its a full meal.Good thing,this is very healthy and all the ingredients are natural.
In Biryani Rice and Chicken are cooked separately to make the layers.There are a lot of types of Biryani but today we gonna learn onlyCHICKEN BIRYANI with a very simple and easy method ,I am 100% sure you will give it a try.I love all the Biryanis but my favorite is Chicken Biryani because its very easy and simple to make and it does not take too much time.
Lets get started;
All the Ingredients you need for chicken biryani
Chicken ½ kg
Basmati rice 3 cups
Oil 1 cup
Onion 2 medium size
Ginger ,garlic paste 1 tsp
Tomato 1 medium
Green chilies 5-6 pcs
Yogurt
Dry spices
National Biryani masala
Coriander leaves
Red chili powder
Salt as you required
Turmeric powder
Orange color if you want to add
DRY Spices
½ tsp Cumin seeds / Zeera
3 Green Cardamom / Choti elaichi
1 bay leaf / tez patta
3-4 Cloves / long
1 Star anise / Badhyan ka phool
1 black cardamom / Bari elaichi
Ingredients to Marinate the Chicken
Chicken ½ kg
Ginger garlic paste 1 tsp
Yogurt 3-4 tbsp
Salt as per your taste
Red chili powder ½ tsp
National biryani masala 1 tsp
Marinate for almost 1-2 hours
Method;
Soak rice for 2 hours.
Put 1 cup of oil in a pan or pot,add onions and fry till they turn golden.
Take half of the fried onions and keep aside we will use that in layering.
Now add ginger garlic paste and marinated chicken in the onions and fry till it leaves the oil.
Add finely chopped tomatoes and keep frying until all the water dries.
Add salt,red chili powder ,turmeric powder and Dry spices.
Add whole green chilies,coriander and Biryani masala cover it for 10-12 min on very low flame and after that switch off the flame.
Our chicken is ready now to make layers.
Next step we need to boil the rice.
Take 8 cups of water and add salt as per your taste and cumin seed ½ tsp.
When u see the water is boiling you can add rice and cook.
After 12-15 min you can check the rice ,you don’t need to cook the rice fully it should be little bit un-cooked.(you can take one rice,press it with your index figure and thumb,while pressing you will feel 3- 4 small dot like, bit hard pieces of rice.It means your rice is perfect now).
You can drain the water from rice.
Take your cooking pot ( wide utensil) and put a thick layer of white rice.
Spread the cooked chicken and put one more layer of rice , add chicken if you have left over rice you can spread that also.
Now on the topping you can add Fried onions,green coriander,green chilies,round pieces of tomato.
If you want to put color in the biryani you need to take orange color and mix with 2 spoon of milk and put in the corners of the pot.( But I don’t like to put color, I like the natural color).
Now you can cover the rice and let it be on the very low flame for 15 minutes.
(If you are scared that your rice will burn with this technique you can put a hard pan under your rice pot) and keep on low flame for 15minutes.
After 15 min you can open the rice, you will see the amazing look ,aromatic mouth watering smell.
