Why Not Antibiotics? Why Not?

Avoiding “Hello Magazine” in favour of a steemit post ... I’m sitting waiting for Mia to finish her piano lesson. She’s learned in one week what her teacher says students learn in months. She wants to move through the grades fast before September and she’s unschooled so she has plenty ty of time. Got to love unschooling!

So, whilst they are working, piano keys tinkling, I’m thinking about a surprising message I just received on my way in.

Subject is kidney infections. A contact of mine has to pay out £300 for a specialised antibiotic for a kidney infection so she came to ask if Homeopathy can be used instead. I said yes and she asked me “what will it cost?” £125 for a first appointment and £75 for any follow up. Most probably she’ll only need the one appointment to do more than the antibiotic will do.
She says ‘I was right. Too expensive’. So now she’ll pay £300 for an antibiotic and most likely it will work and then return.

I’ve just been through this process with a patient who decided she was too ill to Skype for a similar problem, so she went (out of the house) to the doctor and got some antibiotics. The antibiotics haven’t worked so she had to come Skype with me.

I don’t see the logic of this but I suppose the message is that at knee jerk level they trust what they are used to, even though they see repeated evidence it doesn’t work and despite concerns they have about antibiotics and side effects.

It’s hard to break old patterns.

Irony in the first case is that the patient also has rheumatoid arthritis (which I have treated and cured in other patients) and her cheap £125 consult would not only deal with the underlying susceptibility to this kidney infection and prevent it recurring (in my repeated experience) but it would likely go some way toward making a dent on her RA and any other problems she has.

We are very used to looking at all our problems as disconnected.
I’m guessing she’ll be back, £300 lighter, with a recurrence of her kidney infection ... but I guess this will bring her to accidental treatment for her autoimmune disease (RA).

We all have our own paths and a homeopath has to be patient and mop up when someone appears.

Oh I hear you, the level of trust that people put in the medical system, I know there is a time and a place, but in my experience they never deal with the root cause of anything, they just band aid it all and send you on your way. We hand our power over too easily to others.

Yes indeed. It’s fristrating but I think people are on a path and they are not ready to wake up until they are ready to wake up. Much of the ill health I encounter is caused by medicine in the first place!
Thanks for the affirmation @trucklife-family. It’s frustrating, but I just try to take a deep breath and let people do their thing. Just have to give people the info then let go of the outcomes or we’ll all go mad!

Yep and Yep! I get it. I get the programming that is beaten into our brains- have a problem, take a pill- but I have never been able to comprehend the take-a-pill, doesn't-work- take-another-pill, doesn't-work, take-yet-another pill..... have now spend sometimes hundreds of dollars and weeks in time, for being right back where they started. Yet time and again I've watched this program play out over and over and over.....

Over and over and over, round and round ... yet it’s ‘too expensive’ to pay a homeopath to set it right. The onus is on us homeopaths to get busy, busy, busy so people are drowning in social proof that will help them break out of that cycle. You can only take a horse to water etc. Helps if that water looks sweet, cool and refreshing. 😂

People want direct relief from any disease so many peoples want antibiotics medicine. antibiotics not really good for health I think that antibiotics are harmful to our human body but it is a temporary treatment for any disease.Homeopathy is not an option it's the best choice for any disease.
Thank you @sallylloyd your follower @akshaymukadam.

I think you are right. But with the right homeopathic remedy relief is faster than antibiotics and longer lived, in my experience. 😄
