Bitzy - A Review on the Adorable Cruelty-Free make-up brand
Bitzy is a fairly new line of make-up found at Sally Beauty Supply. (And if it isn't that new, sorry it's new to me!) The packaging is oh-so-cute, and it's cruelty free!!! Oh yeah, did I mention that most of the products, if not all, are under $2 USD? Sounds too good to be true!
I only tried a couple of products at first, but here are my thoughts:
Okay, let's start with the liquid lipstick. Here is the shade "Sweet 16". This stuff is just too cute!
As far as the packaging goes, its pretty attractive. The only downside is that the way you apply the "liquid lipstick". It has a plasticy tip with a hole, which doesn't really help you spread it out on your lips. You have to really work it, or spread it with a lipstick brush.
When it comes to consistency, this stuff is pretty sticky. If you have hair like mine and it's windy... well you know.... It did last for quite a while though, but applied and held more like a highly pigmented gloss. When I say highly pigmented, I mean highly pigmented. Here is a swatch to show how much color it has.
Here it is again. (please excuse the face, I was going for a no make-up miserable sort of look)
I mean, in conclusion this stuff was SUPER affordable, cruelty-free, highly pigmented, and held up as much as some other very expensive lipsticks so I say give it a try!!!
Let's talk nail-polish. I tried two different colors, but there were quite a few to choose from. Here we have "Sweetie Pie". Thought this was a fun color, and loved the confetti look. I wasn't too impressed with application though. It didn't apply too evenly, and I literally had to apply 3 coats and a top-coat to get it to look nice. Eh.
OOooo these bottles are just so cute! This color is "Tomatillo" and the one I was most excited for. Love the cool green colors right now. This one applied much better than the glitter-filled color above, which was honestly to be expected. Still had to apply two coats, but that's pretty normal so I wasn't too sad about it. I also applied a top-coat and it lasted quite a while. This color was definitely a winner!
That's it! Those were the few products I tried, and overall I would recommend! Here is a link to their facebook page, or you can head to Sally's website to check them out. Enjoy!
