The basis of the LIQNET project is a secure crypto exchange. Liquidity for the exchange is collected both by classical methods and by a separate mechanism based on the LEN technology of own design. LEN is a mechanism that allows you to collect and aggregate through the API data on buy/sell requests from a variety of crypto exchanges located anywhere in the world and form a single order book.

Before starting this let me just commend the brains behind this, this is a great idea and great innovation by the team.

Cryptocurrency exchange is vast and requires a lot of know-how before someone can just jump into trading. This is mostly because there are a lot of crypto exchange website and they are designed in different ways and they all have different policies. This most times cause problems for newbie at exchange, it’s a big hassle for someone to know where the price is great and where the price is low. Everyone wants to maximize profit and we all try to find the highest prices at exchanges so it's very hard to find if there are different order books and different exchange policy you need to consider.

With vast exchange platform, it is hard to easily decide liquidity. Liquidity of platform A is different from B. This main problem scares away traditional investors, different liquidity from different exchanges seems like its unsettled. Cryptocurrencies should unite people, companies, and financial streams, but the fragmentation of trading over several platforms leads to increased volatility of many cryptographic currencies and assets.

Imagine having all crypto exchange order book in one place and you don’t have to go through different site policies and restrictions to trade. This will be great as there won’t be restrictions and traders won't have to keep records on many exchange platform as they will be able to find it all in one place. Also, traders won’t need to rely on different sites for data as all data can be found in one place
