Acting Quickly On Inspirations
There are things that are perishable and are affected by the passage of time. Well, inspiration is one of them. Without acting fast on the inspiration you have received, as time passes, you will see reasons not to act at all and the inspiration will perish. This is why the best time to act on an inspiration is immediately after you have been inspired. Anything apart from that will be rendering the inspiration invalid.
There are sometimes that a slow action will carry the same negative result as inaction. If you have observed a blacksmith work on metals before, you will agree with me that when they want to forge a metal, they will do it while the metal is hot. When it cools down, it will be almost practically impossible to forge. In the same way, there are some decisions that are better taken when the inspiration is high.
Ideas do not wait for anyone, neither does inspiration do. The same thing that is inspiring you may also be inspiring others and if you delay to take actions, it may render your inspiration stale and the other person may get the privileges of "early bird". In most cases of life, even in cases of fairness, delays can defeat the equity.
Times and seasons happen to everything. There is a timeframe for which an idea will remain valid and outside that time, obsolescence may set in. The dangers of delaying an actions is so much that it will be equated to "no action".
Just like it has been said that "time will wait for no body", so also will inspirations wait for no body. You are the one to wait and live ready to take advantages as they come. You will be surprised to know that the actions you skip are already being taken by other people.
If you are inspired by Ronaldo or Messi, for example, and you want to become a footballer, there is an age requirement you have to meet to be able to enter the academy. Imagine if the person delays till he is 27 years and starts applying to football academies, will he stand a chance of being accepted? At that age, some people are already planning on retiring from active football and he is just about starting. This is just to let you know that delaying an action may make it unattainable.
Even though the entire support is not on ground, still take the action from where you are and with what you can afford and in the long run, it will be better than not taking actions. Always remember this "a little step is far better than a no step".
