Beyond Possessions
Many people get so engrossed in the pursuit of money while forgetting the things that money cannot buy. Yes, money may be desired by everyone but money is not everything. For example, your money may be able to get a house for you, buy you a bed, but it cannot guarantee peace of mind or good sleep. So we should also look out for what money cannot buy.

Have you asked yourself this: "If anything happens to your health right now, who will save you? Is it your colleagues at work, your boss, or your family?" Many people tend to focus more on their jobs at the expense of family and friends but forgetting that a time may come (maybe when you are old) that the only people you will have around will be family and friends, not your work colleagues.
Often times, people tend to be more focused on what they want but lay less emphasis on what they truly need. It is humorous how people spend their time convincing themselves of what they desire but forgetting what is required of them.
Beyond money and other material things, there is more to life. Life does not entirely revolve around material possessions. If you think that material possession is everything, try to give money to someone in coma, then you will understand that life comes first before material possessions.
I remember the story that was told of a very wealthy man that was attacked by a rare medical disorder. He spent heavily to seek for medical cure but to no avail. Medical science failed him and his health degenerated. On his sick bed, he realized that his excess money cannot even save his health and his last words were "shame on money".
There are more things to life than what money can buy and we should understand it. This is why you should value every single moment you live and try to make the most of it. Very importantly, do not sacrifice true friendship or family in the pursuit of material things because these are the people that will be your closest allies in the future.
