Keep Fighting

in #life7 years ago

When you're beaten down in the face of opposition, what do you do? Well, it is only human to begin to feel discouraged or dejected; maybe to attract pity from people. But what has "pity" to offer in the face of challenge, if not only sympathy? I ask you; would sympathy clear the challenges from your path? When you're faced with challenging situations, it is wisdom to confront it squarely.

The challenges you refuse to confront would just establish its lordship over you. And not until you rise up to the occasion and put a fight against the opposition, you may never be declared the conqueror. The spirit of "I can overcome" is the booster you need to put up the required fight against opposition. And the truth is; you can't run away from challenges - you must face it. And even being defeated once does not mean you are a failure. Remember the words of Confucius the great:

Our glory is not in not falling, but it is in getting up everytime we fall - Confucius

This is absolute truism - if you've failed at a single attempt, you should pick up the fragments of what is left and put up a righteous warfare against the opposition. Oppositions do not answer to tears, neither do they answer to pleas, but they would only fizzle out when you've put up a fight against them.

When Thomas Edison failed in multiple attempts, he refused to quit trying - but put up a righteous fight against the opposition. And at the end, he hit his mark. Now, that's a perfect description of the spirit of "I can overcome".

Even when the CEO of Kentucky fried chicken; Colonel Harland Sanders; was almost termed a chronic failure because of his numerous failed attempts to succeed at any job, he refused to be weakened by that. He fought one last time, and that was how KFC was birthed.

The obstacles or challenges you do not confront, how do you hope to conquer them? You need to put up a fight against the challenging situations, and you'll see how they would fizzle out.
