My Experience With Everex DApp Review
About 2 week ago, a DApp review contest was launched by @oracle-d in collaboration with @stateofthedapps - the contest was all about the review of financial DApps listed and featured in StateOfTheDApps. Many people participated in the contest and I was privileged and honoured to be among the five winners. No doubt, the task was challenging but it was fun all the way.
Yesterday, an announcement was made by @dapplovers about the winners of the contest and the review I made about Everex emerged as one of the winning reviews - it is really an honour.
Why Everex? The Reason Behind My Choice Of Review
I made the choice to review Everex because of the level of depravity that has been witnessed in the financial sector. Many people; particularly from parts of Sub-Saharan Africa and around some developing countries of Asia; have been cut off from the global and world's economy. Even sending money across borders has turned out to be an up-hill task - banks collecting large chunk of the money as "service charges" and all that. This is one of the reasons Everex was birthed: to provide an alternative, easier and better way for everyone to gain access to global economy. You can take a look at the review for more info.
During the course of making the Everex review, I did some in-depth survey of the platform. I even went further to invest in EVX tokens just to gain access to the additional perks offered by the platform. I'm glad to know that my time wasn't wasted and it was worth all the efforts. I'm also very excited that the Everex review earned a feature in StateOfTheDApps.
More so, the tweet I made about the review earned some impressions and has increased my acquaintances and friends - what more can I ask for? It has indeed been an honour and I look forward for more tasks.
I want to used this medium to sincerely appreciate the organizers of this contest: @stateofthedapps, @oracle-d, @dapplovers and the entire team of @oracle-d - you guys are amazing.
Big congrats to all the other winners: @bozz, @daan, @dongentle2, @ferrate. Here's a little song for y'all to enjoy your day with. It's one of my favourite songs from "Right Said Fred"... enjoy!
Congrats Buddy. Such a great entry you had in there.
