Sam Prock - The Droplet Groove

I usually get deep and spend enourmous time (rafting my own synth tone from scratch. By choice, not complaining, this is the most fun part of creative process.

This track for the most part based on the preset coming with Arturia ARP2600. The sequence is so mesmerizing, I spent hours and days just playing it, tweaking tone, with or without groove. I also heard a variant of this sequence by couple guys on SoundCloud, YouTube.

I wonder if any of you Electronics Historians can recognize the sequence, if it has 70s roots? Maybe Arturia guy crafted it. Most of Arturia V collection is really good indeed :)
