Plein Air Painting - Autumn, Remarkables Mountains, New Zealand
It’s mid autumn here in southern New Zealand and I’m getting outside to paint as much as I can to capture the autumn colours. Today I came back to one of my favourite painting spots along Tobins Track, which is on the Crown Terrace at the base of the Crown Range mountains.
I painted this view the other week but it’s such a nice spot I decided to paint it again especially since we’ve had a spell of cold weather and there is snow on top of the mountains. I painted this art work in oils, outdoors en plein air.
Autumn, Remarkables Mountains, 7.5” x 10” (approx), oil on canvas, painted outdoors en plein air.

Very cool landscape art. I like it. 😊
And I gome soon more.. I have not look your pages long time.

Autumn is well and truly here, also :) Love your plein airs, Sam ! The landscape in your canvas looks as if it's still in late summer because of the green tones :)
