Plein Air Painting - Paihia, New Zealand
It’s been about two weeks since I last painted outdoors en plein air so I’ve been itching to get outside and paint.
It’s such a beautiful morning here in the Bay of Islands, the weather is warm considering it’s virtually winter. I set up my easel on the beach and painted the view.
Paihia, New Zealand, 7” x 10” (approx), oil on canvas, painted outdoors en plein air.

Really nice, Sam ! Amazing that you are still doing plein airs :O It's getting very wintery here in Melbourne, and no one is enjoying going outside > __ <
These are beautiful, as always <3 Love the foamy movements of the water at the lip of the beach :)
Thanks @veryspider, it's getting chilly here too, luckily not as cold as Queenstown!
