An afternoon bike-graphic.
Are you ready to go exploring?
How about steemians, happy sunday to you all, I hope you're all feeling well, I'm coming back today after a long absence, I hope you haven't forgotten about me as I bring you some good photographic material that I want to share with you.
As you know, I love to go out on my bike to explore the most beautiful places in the state where I live, so today I'm sharing with you some pictures I took on one of my bike-photographic outings, this time the destination is the hill "El Morro", located in the city of Lecheria - Anzoátegui.
That day I had my doubts about whether to go or not, since it was about to rain, I still took a chance, With this in mind, I'm only armed with what I need, my faithful sony dsc-hx1 camera, bicycle tools and clear, waterproof bags to protect equipment.
It was a long afternoon which I enjoyed to the maximum, the Morro is one of the tourist places par excellence in Lecheria, every day many athletes travel the different routes it offers, some go by bicycle, others by motorcycle or on foot, there are many activities that can be enjoyed here, my favorite is the bike ride, as it is one of the few places in the city where you can enjoy some good tracks for donwhill - MTB where there are only dirt roads for the most extreme, as well as highways that lead to the lookout point at the top for the less daring.
I explored trails I'd never been on before, like a kid in an amusement park, That afternoon I focused on two objectives, on the one hand I was exploring the place to make some cycling recordings and some landscape shots, which I will use in a video that I am recording and on the other hand there are the photos that I am showing you today which were taken using the technique of H.D.R or High Dynamic Range.
I've talked about this technique before but let's do a little review, an HDR image is usually made up of several pictures taken at different exposure levels, this is done in order to collect as much information as possible from the high, low and medium beams.
I usually use only three images with different exposure levels, as you can see under each photo I placed the three original photos, so they can see the difference between the originals and the result.
What software do I use to edit my HDR?
The software I use to process my photos is Photomatix Pro version 6.0, which specializes in HDR photos and I've actually found it to be very successful, with it I make the most important adjustments and then finish the processing of the photo in Photoshop, which I can't leave out in my work.
I certainly think I made the best decision when I left home that day, because the weather helped me a lot to create strong contrasts, which is very characteristic of HDR photos, there was a perfect balance between a sunny and cloudy task at the same time with a light sprinkling of falling rain, It was just so nice to spend the afternoon surrounded by that energy I was breathing while I was there.
Although it wasn't easy to record myself and take pictures at the same time, as I had to position the camera and then run to do the shot and then return to cut the recording, Adding up the time it took me to take the pictures.
It was tedious but rewarding at the same time, when you do something you really like, you don't feel tired, you always feel like doing a lot more, I didn't want it to end that afternoon just like that, but I had to accept it, Every moment is ephemeral, but thanks to my camera I can remember that I was there, living in that moment and no doubt there will be more experiences to talk about, either alone or with others, I chose to be an accumulator of moments and not of things, I look forward to seeing you on my next adventures.
