A TWISTED FATE

As soon I saw the post on @bycoleman page about writing a story that potrays uniqueness, originality and motivating, my mind flashed back to that sorrowful day.
On a fateful day, I was walking my way back home after getting the things my mother sent me. When I was closer to the garage where I would board a cab back home. I saw a young man in his early 30's in a dazzling and captivating dress, I was carried away mere looking at him.
Suddenly, a woman was shouting from behind"thief, thief, thief" running towards the man. Some garage boys after hearing the shout of thief looked for weapons around them to attack the thief, some took broken bottles, some sticks to attack the thief (that is how garage boys in NIGERIA react to such things).
I was shocked when the woman ran towards the dazzling man being admired by me accusing him of stealing her money. The man was also surprised on hearing the woman calling him a thief. Before he knew it, he was beaten by the garage boys.
An elderly man seeing the man, pitied him and find his way to where he was been beaten, the elderly man asked the woman how much was stolen from her and she replied him #10500. So they searched the man and found #10800 on him, this gave them the impression that he really stole it and the old man couldn't do anything to help the situation again.
His neat and dazzling cloth has now become a rag, some minutes afterwards he gave up the ghost after losing so much blood.
Few minutes afterwards, the child of the woman ran towards her presenting the acclaimed stolen money to her that her father said he should give her that she forgot it at home.
So this dead man was innocent, when the wife of the dead man couldn't see her husband return home because it was getting late, she was panicking and call her sister whom her husband went to visit. The sister replied that he left her place some hours ago and he even gave the husband #10500 to give to her, she told her to calm down that maybe the husband went to hang out with his friends.
The wife called the husband cell phone repeatedly but couldn't get through. The following morning she was presented the body of her dead husband.
