Make up for soul

Beauty products that do magic on your skin and make you look beautiful cannot do the same to your soul. No matter how beautiful you may look outside, but deep inside it will still be you. It is important that we cleanse our inner self rather than focus on our skin which fades as people try to know us better.

I know this gorgeous girl who looks innocent, decent, well dressed and is nothing less than a diva that every mother would want for her darling son. But, once I got to know her better did I realise that appearances are deceptive. I had the opportunity to watch her treat a little underprivileged kid who was smitten by her looks. The little girl was shooed away because she looked dirty to this modern girl who wears only branded clothes and pretends to be innocent.

I wish she could spend a little time on learning how to treat humans over how to highlight the jawline. I felt sick when the little girl had tears in her eyes. But then I believe the little girl had a life lesson which we all should learn, "all the glitters is not gold ".
