What goes viral in India?
We Indians are very gullible. Most of us have sheep mentality, which means if you are studying engineering, I will do too. We don't think that someone superior to us is doing it wrong. For Indians Bollywood stars are 'GOD', fashionistas, trend setters and we tend to follow their life so closely that we forget living our own life.
The media makes sure that we follow our movie stars as if there is nothing else left to do in life. 'X' actress has a crush on a co-worker, 'Y's marriage has hit a rough patch, Z has a new addition to her family, Z's husband is seeing someone is all the news that pops up when we switch on our idiot box to get some insight on national issues. The newspapers are also loaded with such news. Looks like media is short of quality news and to fill the space they use personal details of Bollywood stars who make their career just like you and me.
The latest news that media is cashing with full force is actress Kareena Kapoor Khan and Saif Ali Khan's new born 'Taimur Ali Khan's. This young lad that belongs to the royal family is in news more than the country's prime minister 'Narendra Modiji' who is trying to change the country for better. Taimur is constantly in news for one reason or the other.
Media went bonkers when the child was born and since then there has been no looking back. Taimur is now just a year old and has been on news daily for silly reasons. Media thinks his playtime, his party time, his nap time, his nappy changing time, his vacations, his eating time is all that people in India want to know. Looks like there are a group of journalists from every leading news agency constantly looking at the baby. If the little one sneezes, that will also be news.
The latest news that is making rounds is about little Taimur combing his hair.

Every child imitates people around him/her and that's quite normal. It should been a issue if child is not doing so. So, what's great if the child is trying to comb his hair? The proud mother shares this pic on her Instagram page and people could not resist from sharing it millions of times and making it viral. Has your child never tried to imitate you ? Have you never seen a child do what Taimur is doing? Well, I understand the mother's feeling. She is a first time mom and her actions are quite obvious, but that should be very normal for others, specially media.
Media should try and change its focus on more important issues rather than pay attention to what a kid normally does. If media keeps doing this there won't be a time when we will see baby Taimur pooping in a pot with a headline that would say 'Baby Taimur is all grown up now, pooping in pot, gone are diaper days '.
Get a life Indian media, live and let live. Taimur needs some alone time and we don't need to follow every bit of Taimur. There are more important issues that needs our attention, try and report those.
Not only India aceh also included maju sheep, but it depends on our good heart
