Everything's Fine

In my previous post I told about how I used to draw a lot of details until there wasn't any space left. So I wanted to show an artwork from 2010 where you can see some details :P. Somehow in this artwork there was a smiley in the center but got so overloaded with stuff it's hard to notice. Back then I didn't use blending or smoothing or more then 1 pencil. It was all done with 1 pencil on A3 paper. Fun fact is that it's my most popular pencil drawing on Deviant Art and still is 8 years later. I think I worked more then two months on it for more than 100 hours.

I made some cuts from it so you can see some more:

I don't draw that small anymore but I still love adding details. :)

Hope you like it?

love this one, sander <3

an incredible pencil work with amazing details and a lot of smaller stories captured within its huge canvas. the figures tumbling, spilling, overflowing all over one another and how everything is actually a giant smily emoticon reveals your design and your expression of being made to express to the world that "everything is fine"

AMAZING~

Thank you so much @veryspider! Great explanation of the artwork :)

really cool,
not just the amount of detail but how it all works to flow so much as an image as a whole is real impressive.

Thank you very much @stantastic! :D

This is awesome! Was it a relaxing process or rather annoying for you?

Thank you @patschwork! It is a long time ago but often with this kind artworks it's really relaxing until the last 10%. Because then it's all about finishing it and it feels like couple of hours but could be days.... This is because I keep finding things that need to be improved ;) And with such big detailed drawings you keep finding things so I seems like it's almost done but also it feels like neverending. Hope I made any sense?

That is awesome. So much story in one piece.

It kind of reminds me of the work of Hieronymus Bosch.

Thank you very much! I love the art of Hieronymus Bosch :D

Super! Ik kwam hier terecht via de #alldutchcreations recap #2 post.
