An Ode to Steemit Beta: The Addictive Social Media Platform

My last post before 4 July, so what is it about?
A little poem I think, to see what I can spout.

The People

To dantheman and ned, thanks for this creation
I'm sure they must be well chuffed and filled with elation.

The developers and coders and team behind the scene
A big round of applause to you for creating this awesome theme.

The creatives ones, an ebook, steemit 101 they have written
With lots of downloads from Amazon, the public will be smitten.

And to you the community, without you it would not be here
So please be upstanding and give yourself a big cheer.

The Blog

You can't get no sleep, cause you think about the blog to write
Or did you just read your tablet late and your head is full of stuff :)

The blog is published on steemit, all sparkly and new
The voter thinks "vote now, no wait 30 minutes - Oh, I don't know what to do".

The votes roll in, the responses too, the SD start to grow
One week later, you take a look "where did they all go?".

So what will you do on 4 July, with your SD supplies
Cash-out, power-up. No-one knows. It will be a surprise.

The End and a New Beginning

It's been fun to be part of the steemit beta platform
To meet you all and even the bots, it's been fuzzy and warm.

On 4 July, of the steemit we know, there will be no remains
It will rise more powerful, like The Mother of Dragons, from the flames

It's time for me to go now and try to shut up
I just want to say "Steemit - I wish you the best of luck!
