Extreme situation in education

An extreme situation in the educational area can have different approaches, however, the extreme situation that education is experiencing today in my country is related to the fact that in some states of the country, as is the case of the state of Carabobo, teachers will only teach once a week.

This ends up being an extreme decision due to the fact that there are no other options at the moment, the unions have reached these agreements since the salary for educators in the country is not even enough to cover the cost of transportation to go to fulfill these job responsibilities in teaching.

I imagine that not all unions will accept to establish this way of working, however, it is worth asking ourselves what other options are left? Since the situation does not depend on whether or not the teachers want or do not want to attend to fulfill their work responsibilities, but rather that they do not even have enough money to pay for the transportation to go and teach from Monday to Friday.

This has an impact on a Venezuelan society that is increasingly demoralized by the sole fact that education has reached the point that educators, as a fundamental part of the educational process, cannot fulfill their duties because the salary assigned to them is not even enough to cover the cost of transportation to go and teach classes.

I only hope that the competent government authorities in the education sector manage to analyze this problem and adjust a decent salary that is subject to the economic evaluation of inflation in the country, so that educators can fulfill their work and contribute to the social and educational development of the country.
