Steemit Iron Chef 2021 Act 1 Round 05 || Baked Eggplant with Eggplant Chips

Hello My Dear Iron Chefs......

Here we met again after a week with another delicious dish of this week's mysterious product. Yeah we all know the mysterious product in this week, it's Eggplant.

Well, this week I thought to make a main course. My mind was filled with so many ideas. I made eggplant in two ways for this dish, as baked eggplant and eggplant chips. Let's see the ingredients I used for this delicious dish.

Ingredients

For Baked Eggplant

  • Eggplant
  • Chicken
  • Potato
  • Onion and Garlic
  • Salt, Turmeric, Chillie flakes, and Chillie powder

For Eggplant Chips

  • Eggplant
  • Flour
  • Salt, Chillie powder, Turmeric
  • Egg
  • Coconut oil

When I make a dish, I try to make it from the available ingredients I have at home. So, these ingredients were like that. Anyway, I'm not going to describe the procedure of this dish. I'll tell you simply about this dish.

Well, first I make the Baked Eggplant. This is the main part of my dish. Here I cut the eggplant in a different way and filled the cutting spaces with a filling that made of potato, chicken, onion, garlic, and spices. Then I baked it at 200c for about 15 minutes. It came out so well. Well baked.

The other part was Eggplant chips. Here I cut the eggplant into round shapes. Then, wrapped those in flour, salt, chili powder, and turmeric mix with egg, and fried those. Actually, this is like a side dish. I have seen that some main dishes come with fries or chips when I order a dish in a restaurant. It actually adds more taste to the main dish. Therefore, I thought about these eggplant chips and they really go with the main dish.

Finally, my favorite part has come. It's Plating. I used a white plate. I had so many ideas in my mind for plating, but the outcome was completely different. Anyway, I'm so satisfied with my plating skills. Check out my photography skills too😊.

It took some time to make this dish. But it doesn't matter because I had so much fun while making this dish. Can't wait to meet you guys with next week's dish.
