First of all, thank our @besticofinder for the great invitation to his second class where with much dedication and wisdom he teaches us “How to set up a trading account in a Cryptocurrency Exchange”.

In case someone does not know yet, an “Exchange” is a virtual trading platform with cryptocurrencies, which allows us to make purchase/sale operations of and/or exchanges of one type of cryptocurrency for another. If we remember the first class, in these exchanges we will find the aforementioned Altcoins (all those that are not bitcoins) and stablecoins (stable coins backed by a traditional asset). Currently, there are many exchange platforms and as the days go by more and more are being added. The professor at the end of the class left us an interesting task, where we have to give a brief explanation of how to set up a commercial account in one of these exchanges.

For this reason, today I have come to try to explain in the simplest way possible how to configure a commercial account in Okex.com from a smartphone with an android operating system, following all the parameters, rules and complying with the established delivery date.

Set up your Okex account using android (Registration and verification)

Step 1

First, we go to the following link to download the application in the google play store Okex Android.

Once the okex application is located, we just have to click install and wait for the installation to finish. The configuration process using a Smartphone is very simple, as well as directly in the Exchange web portal.

Step 2

Now, we quickly enter the application interface that is super easy to understand, we click on “Get Started”.

As we can see, Okex gives us the options to enter with our telegram account and with our google account, but if we do not want these options we simply click on the upper right where it says “Sign UP”. Here we will have two (2) options to register, such as our phone number or our email.

Preferably I recommend linking your phone number so that we will authenticate our account once and for all without using the "Google Authenticator".

Step 4

We must confirm either our phone number or email, writing a six (6) digit code that will arrive depending on the option we have chosen. Next, we must enter our preferred password for our account. Also, Okex does not give the option to use our fingerprint to access our account.

Step 5

Now, we must do the identity verification or level 1 verification of our account, in order to make withdrawals with a maximum limit of 200btc every 24 hours. So, we proceed to fill out the form with our name, surname, and document number.

With these simple five (5) steps we can already do all kinds of operations such as buying, selling, depositing, withdrawing, and exchanging between currencies.

Also, and if we want, we can perform the advanced verification level 2 to increase the withdrawal limit, where the application will ask us to take a photo of the document with the number that we previously entered, and also a selfie to verify our face and compare it with the document.

Buy cryptocurrencies on Okex

It is possible to make purchases of cryptocurrencies in Okex by means of bank transfers with fiat currencies or local currencies, depending on the country where we are located. There are 2 ways an express purchase and a peer2peer (p2p).

Deposit cryptocurrencies at Okex

To deposit, we must first make a few clicks, then select the cryptocurrency to deposit, and thus we will obtain the address of the wallet for the chosen currency, let's see:

Select token

Address Copy or Scan QR.

Withdraw cryptocurrencies on Okex

To withdraw our cryptocurrencies from Okex to another Exchange it is just as simple as depositing, we must also do a few clicks, select the token, and thus, it will throw us the form where we must enter the address, some note, amount to transfer, and the fee (1-5), Let's see.
