In the various challenges that have the colors of the rainbow as protagonists every day, the day dedicated to the indigo is undoubtedly one of the most problematic to define and frame correctly. I made these considerations this morning while walking through the commercial streets of my city, when I was attracted to this window.Indigo is a very particular color that is placed, from a chromatic point of view, between blue and violet.

The history of this color is interesting. The shrub plant from which the color was obtained, called Indigofera Tinctoria, was known since ancient times for this coloring property and in the Asian air, it seems that it was used for this purpose since 2000 BC. Even the ancient Egyptians used this plant and in Europe, it was Marco Polo who made the use and properties of this plant known.

In India, the producer of the best quality of this color, the indigo color has represented an important voice for the economy of this country. For those who believe in it, I would like to point out that the Indigo color is associated with the symbol of spirituality. As an indigo color, for my challenge, I identified this curious and interesting set up of a shop window of a famous fashion brand. If initially I was struck by the dominant colors of the indigo, the details of the clothing on display, and the head of the mannequin, it was pleasant to discover the ancient city reflected in the glass.
