THE SHOPPING GAME: 30/07/2020. My day in Bologna. (Photos by Sard@rt)
These days I am on holiday in Bologna, a city in northern Italy well known for several reasons.
Bologna is in fact a beautiful city, full of very well preserved historical monuments. Bologna has a great and ancient university tradition and for this reason it is a very open, inclusive and much loved city by young people from all over the world who come to study in this beautiful city.
But Bologna is also famous for its great tradition of gastronomy and food production which can be considered a real Italian excellence.
Here then to face the day to discover this city you need a breakfast, classic and not too abundant.
So nothing better than a coffee and cappuccino served outdoors in the bar called "Il Caffeone" which is located in via Zaragoza right under the arcades.
Bologna is also famous for this very characteristic urban element, namely the arcades that run along the city streets. Think about 40 km in all.
So my breakfast can only be made in one of the many bars that are located under these arcades.
Double COFFEE for 2x1.10 Euros
Cappucino for 1.4 Euros
Total of 3.6 Euros
After breakfast we are ready for a few hours of strolling through the city streets to see the beautiful shop windows of the city and the many corners of this city that always attract attention.
But the day is really very hot and therefore after a few hours you have to stop and stop for breath, a little shade and a drink.
And I do this in a very welcoming square, Piazza Minghetti, right in the heart of the historic city, with lots of greenery and bars to stop by.
This time the stop is at "Casa Minghetti" where nice and welcoming tables outside welcome tourists and those who want to stop for a few minutes.
Consumption is at my table n. 36.
The mise en place of this bar is simple but elegant. A rose and a place marker make this small space pleasant.

Beer 5.00 Euros
Table service 2.00 Euros
Total paid 8 Euros
The service provided also includes a pleasant plate of olives: very welcome!
Ultimately the total cost for this breakfast and stop during my Bolognese day was 11.6 Euros.
With Coinmarket place we see how many Steems correspond.

So 11.6 Euros = 65.0 Steem!

I have enjoyed your post, the beautiful images allow us to go there as if we were enjoying that delicious coffee or that walk through that pleasant city. I think that makes up for the heat you say is in the place.
You are right that it is a really beautiful city and such a beautiful place I have rarely seen with my own eyes. In fact, I am a Bangladeshi and we rarely have such a place here.
