Introduce Myself – A Utopian Moderator
Last week, @elear asked all Utopian moderators to make an introductory post to state our intentions and our field of expertise.
I’ve joined Steemit in July, but I started being active in late September. I’ve made my first contribution in “Bug hunting” category on Utopian, 3rd November. Since then I’ve continued to contribute in the “Bug hunting” category, all my contribution being related to the Steem blockchain.
I have been told that I have a keen attention to details and comes easy for me to notice out-of-place things. Because of this, it has brought me a lot of pleasure to report quite a few bugs on Utopian.
More than a month ago, after I’ve read a post from @reggaemuffin, in which he asked people to contribute to the translation of Minecraft Minecolonies, I decided to contribute to the project, by translating it into Romanian. After I’ve finished the translation, I got the permission to proofread the project. Since then I continued to translate many more projects on Crowdin, including the Steem Bluepaper and now I am working on the Steem Whitepaper Romanian translation.
Last week, @omeratagun, invited me on Discord and asked me if I want to be a moderator. After a few questions and discussion with @omeratagun and @ruah, I became a moderator, being part of @ruah’s team. I want to thank @omeratagun for inviting me and @ruah for accepting me! Thank you!
A little bit about me:
My name is Andra, but you know me by my username @sarmizegetusa, which was the capital of Dacian Empire, now Romania. I love history it seems :) I have studied Ecology and Environmental Protection at the Babes Bolyai University and at the University of Bucharest.
A few years ago, I started to learn Photoshop and had quite a few successful freelance projects which included photo editing, photo manipulation and portrait retouching.
Recently, I became interested in video making and editing and also made a channel on youtube, where I posted a few short videos. I hope to better my video editing skills and maybe create video tutorials on Utopian.
My Intentions
I would like to continue to work as a moderator in @ruah’s team and to better myself and help maintain a high quality level on Utopian.
Categories in which I want to work as a Moderator:
- Translations – I speak Romanian (native), English (fluent), German (medium) and I can understand Spanish
- Bug hunting
Since the beginning, your kindness, your qualified contributions has a value in utopian io. Thanks for the being a part of moderators. Nice to see you here among us! Wish you the best!
Thank you for your kind words!
Most wellcome in steemit community i hope will enjoy here
No sabía que podías entender español, ¡me da mucho gusto! :D
Espero que se logren esas metas que te propones en esta presentación como moderadora Utopian!! Lo harás genial y de manera amable!!
Un abrazo bien Grande, @Sarmizegetusa y nos seguimos encontrando!!
Although I understood all that you said, I don't know how to write properly, as I have only learned Spanish by hearing others and not really studying it . :) A good idea will be to start reading your Spanish posts, and see what I can understand:)
