Celery leaves as a cooking spice
Celery (Apium graveolens L.) is a leaf vegetable and medicinal plant commonly used as a cooking spice. Some countries including Japan, China and Korea use the stem part of the leaf as food. In Indonesia this plant was introduced by the Dutch colonizers and used the leaves to menyedapkan soup or as a salad. The most complete use of celery is in Europe: the leaves, the petiole, the fruit, and the tubers are all utilized.
