It's another post of my artwork. Let me take you with me as I make a very simple drawing of a flower. Well in the process of my drawing it is just a matter of color choices and how to make them work when combined together. Coloring is just like life you really have to try each color to find what suits you. Sometimes some choices are bad and ruins the artwork but as the artist of your life you can always find a way to get rid of that mess.

💕1. Like any artwork you should start with having an object or subject for your drawing. Using a pencil you can draw your chosen object. .

As I started my drawing I forgot where my pencil was so I directly used a color pencil. I chose to draw a flower for the main reason, it's easy to draw.

💕2. Once your done with the drawing then here comes the easy part, the coloring part. If your going for basic and beginner way you can use your preference in choosing the colors. But if you wanted it to be exceptional do some color combination before coloring. For my flower I chose Pink and orange together.

💕 3. Shade all the petals of your flower using the colors you want. Use lighter color for the middle part to show variation.

I used Violet to emphasize on the edges of my flower. The thing with color pencil is while coloring some parts might appear lighter than the other. And unlike oil pastel there is really more effort in coloring using color pencil.

Making an art takes a lot of effort. You'll never find beauty until you work hard for it.

💕 4.For the background of my flower I chose blue, Violet,purple and sky blue. Shades of Violet and blue seemed a good combination. It actually looked nice having dark and light colors together.

Final Outcome

You have to love something to be able to create something wonderful. My love for art has recently getting larger. I appreciate arts beauty and peculiarity,
widen my creativity each day. Being able to be creative gives me the courage to do something different for my life.
