THE DIARY GAME: 15/08/2021 Saxified At A Friends Wedding.

Hello Steem World,

It another day, and of course i am grateful for being counted among the living.

So, its Sunday and I have come to understand that, how I spend my Sundays tends to determine how the rest of my week look like. So when i work and and follow through on my usual Sunday routines, my weeks tend to start off a lot smoother and easier. Sunday, for me, is a day of fellowship and get caught up on things that I got behind on the last week while also taking steps to prepare for the next week. Much for one day right?

When i was up from bed, i did my morning meditation as usual, made up my bed and later went to get some water from our well with my brother which we later used some of it to feed the pigs and kept some at home for general usage.
I was so happy about today and of course it was my best day of the week for sure.

Today my one of my elder sister in church, someone i respect so much was getting married and i was honored to be selected by her as her saxophonist for the day amongst all the saxophonist she knows here in town. Me being as a sax guy for her wedding was my own way of support or wedding gift for her as i didn't not charge her, as i was invited for a birthday surprise party this same day, but i turned it down just for her wedding. She deserves it.

Her wedding was taking place in Apostolic church and so early this morning, when i was done with my house chores, i had my bath, dressed up, hd my breakfast, i picked up my saxophone and went to the church where the wedding was taking place. I got there around 9am and the wedding was to start at 10am. I immediately set up my instrument, left the church and rush to where i usually fellowship every sunday as i am the music leader to as well make sure every thing is fine.

When i got to the church, they were still giving opening prayers and to my greatest surprise, i met a lady player the bass guitar. I was surprised and at the same time happy.

I did set up everything in church, tried to balance the sound afterwhich during praise, the lady who was playing the bass guitar gave me to play.

Immediately after praise, i left the church and went backt to my friends wedding. Before i got there, she had already entered the church with the husband, so i immediately joined my friends and brothers who where there playing the drums, keyboard and bass guitar with my saxophone as we spiced up the wedding with music.

Around 2pm, wedding was over afterwhich pictures where taken, and we later went to the reception hall not too far away from the church. The reception hall was set up the previous day with live music too.

From the look of the picture above, you can tell how the reception was like already. So while i was admiring the hall, i first of all went and set up my instruments along side with my friends, did sound check and boommmm... MUSIC MUSIC MUSIC.

It was so fun, that i dont regret the sacrifices i made on this particular day.
Firstly, i turned down a birthday surprise party which would have paid me well,
Secondly, didn't not complete my church service where i usually fellowship,
Lastly, Every sunday, i usually have music rehearsals with the music band i am part of, and we are presently planning for a concert which is to hold in about two weeks time, Yet I did not make it for rehearsals.

The sacrifice was all worth it.
Around 6pm when reception was over, i put my instrument in its bag as i left, went home and called it a day.
