PERSISTENCE-A KEY TO DIVINE BLESSING
Human life is full of wants. Whenever we don't have those things that we want, we always feel like God is not on our side.
Instead of going to God in prayer, we result to complaining.
I'm suppose to be a graduate by now.
I'm suppose to be in a position of power by now.
I'm suppose to be an authority.
I'm suppose to be driving a car of my own by now.
My kids are suppose to be in a better school.
I want to build a house categorically mansion but I cannot afford a land.
I am not relevant in the story of human being.
These and more are what many have been battling with and it looks as if God has forgotten them but let's consider this text:
Genesis 32:26 (NIV)
Then the man said, “Let me go, for it is daybreak.”
But Jacob replied, “I will not let you go unless you bless me.”
Jacob fought with the man and did not leave him until he was blessed.
For how many days have you been trying?
For how many weeks have you been trying?
For how many months have you been trying?
For how many years have you been trying?
Many people could not withstand a little problem for some period before they give up and attach their impossibilities to fate. The fact that you are here now does not mean that you cannot get there. The difference between here and there T which send for "TIME". Only if you can be persistent with your request then your dream will be achieved.

Approach your God in prayer when you are alone and pour out your mind to him. Jacob was persistent in the fight and later he was blessed totally.
Be persistent in your prayer and God will surely bless you but many are not ready to be consistent and persistent. So, they usually attach everything to fate claiming God knows what I need.

I see the story in John 8 where the ungodly lawyer helped the poor woman who wearied him (the ungodly lawyer) because of persistence. If only we can always hold on to God, we'll receive all we ask for.

Persistence is a key ingredient in our Christian walk, although we face trial and temptations, we shall come out victorious.

We should know that His thought is different from ours. He knows the right time to release to us what we have been pleading him of. *"The vision is yet for an appointed time, though it tally....it must surely come to pass.
