SC-N's FIRST VISIT TO CHILD CARE TRUST HOME FOR CHILDREN WITH SPECIAL NEEDS/FUNDRAISING FOR CHILDREN's DAY VISIT
Sc-n is not just a sub-community of Steemchurch representing Nigeria, it is mainly a SUPPORT SYSTEM For the Nigerian Nation on and off the blockchain.🇳🇬
Children are bundles of Joy given to us by God to nurture and secure their future, irrespective of their peculiarities.
As May 27th, Children's Day, is fast approaching, sc-n has been making plans to celebrate Children with Special needs and 'abilities'.
So we visited Childcare Trust Home in Bwari, Abuja yesterday.🇳🇬
Child Care Trust Home was founded by Late. Mrs.Stella Obasanjo, wife of Former President of Nigeria, Olusegun Obansanjo who ruled Our Great Nation for 8 years.
The Home is managed by Mrs.Harmony
Speaking with Mrs.Adekola, the Home's Head Teacher, we learnt that The Home has fifty(50) children ranging from ages 8-20 years.
The boy on green house wear, is a beneficiary of the home and autistic. He is popularly called Captain, because of his leadership skills, and he gave me the warmest welcome ever.
Speaking with him made me realise how intelligent, extraordinary and funny he is.😊
Others also came to say hello.
The boy on the left is 10 and deaf and dumb.
But, not to be underestimated. I learnt he is the Best in his class.
Mrs.Akintola teaches him via sign language.
The girl on the red-coloured hostel wear, is 20, austistic and is popularly called Mama.
She sang the National Anthem beautifully and even better than some of us can.😊
This is our first visit to the home to do a logistic survey to prepare and plan fully for Our Children's Day Visit.
We would be meeting with The Home's Executive Manager this afternoon to fully discuss the Children's Basic needs and how sc-n can be of help.

This is really great @sc-n. A lot of people out there need our help and it a big move for sc-n to take. These one have seemingly been rejected by society but it is in our place to show them love.

Wow so many people are passing through so many difficulties and trials, it's difficult to see that the the people in power are really neglecting the esence of giving and kindness, towards people who are deprived and bereaved, this is a fantastic gesture, reaching the less privileged, the truth is, those who really needs help do not have the means to tell the world, however by taking chances and extending a long hand of help will facilitate the love professed by @steemchurch.

Meeting the needs of those who are in need attracts blessings and most especially when it comes to children.
Children as a gift from God, any assistance or support given to children is a seed worth sowing because it will definitely germinate and grow bigger.
