Drinkers Review:

This beer pours a copper hue with a rather rocky head and lacing everywhere. It has a floral hop smell the smell and a touch of toffee malts nothing over the top but not unlikeable. You can taste that it is an amber ale. It is malty but not in an over the top way. You could easily drink some of these with friends and turn it into a mighty session. Your craft beer mates might think it was a bit boring & your generic beer mates might think it was a bit exotic but chances are everyone would drink a few of them and you would be the beer expert and champion to all! Get a few and try it out.

I've had it a couple of times. First time was at a Beerfest, if I remember rightly (lot of beers drank that afternoon).
I would place them in the easy drinking beer category, if there is a easy drinking beer category. :)
As a rule the flavours are subtle, and the finish is mostly smooth. the kind of beer that goes well with a nice salty snack and some good conversation. That is my opinion anyways.
I do enjoy the stronger flavoured craft beers as my first choice.

Love the look of that brewery!
And the beer too of course...

Such an important beer in the history of Australian craft beer, I remember it very fondly from various pubs in Richmond in the early 2000's when it was about all the craft beer you could get - still a go to beer for me.
