I am new to Steemit, I got in just like an hour ago. So I think I need to understand what Steemit is actually about and what is Steem?...What is Steem Power?...and similar basic stuff. I need to get introduced to Steemit at a professional level.

      I will tell you everything I know to help You:

      Steem:
      Steem is a crypto-currency currently valued at $2.5.
      Steem is what is the money that is used on Steemit.

      Steemit:
      Steemit is a social media on the Steem blockchain.

      Upvote:
      When you upvote a person's post, you are paying that person Steem,
      also you get rewarded 7 days later as a curator.

      Curator:
      When you upvote, comment, or make a blog, you are rewarded 7 days later as a curator, and be paid in Steem Dollars or Steem Power.

      Steem Power:
      Steem Power is your investment in Steem. It is locked up Steem,
      and controls how much your upvote is worth.

        Steem can be withdrawn by having a Crypto-wallet.

        If you have an android phone,
        the 'Mycelium' wallet can be downloaded from the Google play store.

        Alternatively, you can transfer the Steem to an online exchange,
        but there are potential risks with online exchanges.

        I have a GreenBits wallet . Can I transfer Steem into GreenBits wallet?

          I'm relatively new too, There's a few quick start guides on your home tab which are pretty informative, steem power is basically your influence over the community, Steem is the crypto currency used on steemit, and steam dollar (not that I've used much of it) is sort of like a savings account if I could guess, I can try help with anything specific you curious about? ask away.
