Art Tidbits and More
Good morning and happy "Caturday". I hope everyone is having a relaxing time this weekend and, if not, at least that you are staying warm. That's more than I can say. Our downstairs neighbor controls the heat for the whole house and, because she hates us, has kept it so low it might as well not be on. The landlord will not be happy, though he is already trying to remove her. We can't wait to have some peace (and heat) around here!
Anyway, I visited my old roommates yesterday. Clearly they have not been getting along well with me gone. TC has gone and made herself a fort. Absolutely no Sullys are allowed.
Saddened by his exclusion from Fort TC, Sully sought out some time for introspection on the bed where he made a new friend. Unfortunately, his new friend was a bit of a grump. Their conversations were focused on the negative and he just kept thinking about that fort. Oh how hurt he was that TC was exclude him.
Sully decided he would have a few drinks. Eventually, I joined him and his mood lifted. He became much happier and quite talkative. For a time, he forgot all about TC and her fort. He laughed and played poker. The little bugger even took me for quite a lot of money.
Eventually, he was so tired he retreated to the couch to finish his beer and count the money he won off me before eventually falling asleep. What a cute little guy. On my way out, I was reminded of a very old piece of art I made when first learning pyrography. It still hangs by the front door plants to this day.
I hope you enjoyed my silly story. Cats are so fun. Now it's back to work for me. Plenty of wood burning and painting to do today, even though my fingers are already half frozen. Be like a cat, relax and enjoy your day!

All you had to do is put a picture of your cat and no text… and I would have still upvoted the post…cats are awesome!
LOL so true! But that's not high enough quality content!
;-)
Great and funny post :)
Love the fort TC.
Reminds me of my daughter's fort (well, from when she was younger).
Plenty of guards for protection I see, haha. Glad to give a laugh!
Most of the "guards" are Disney princesses :)
