- A Berlin jury court sentenced the former Ensign Oltwig Hirschfeld to the relatively mild sentence of 18 months in prison. Hirschfeld had hurt Erzberger in an assassination attempt on January 26, the challenged rights center politicians and Finance Minister Matthias.

The former First Mayor of Hamburg, Friedrich Sthamer, presents the British Foreign Secretary George Curzon in London his credentials as German charge d'affaires. He starts work on 23 February; From August 1920, he held office as German ambassador.
In Prussia, the removal of images of the royal family is placed in all public buildings.
