Dear Lady Nostalgia,
The things you do to me...
You take me back,
Through sights ahead,
And make my insides shake...
The more I sense,
The more you twist,
Oh how my memories ache...
Have mercy oh nostalgia,
Make not the good ole days turn bad,
For all we were, shaped what we are,
And it never is a good time to be sad...
This is short, and not by any means one of my better works. I just had to write something to cloud (or elevate) these many feelings I'm getting. I hate nostalgia, and the last few days of mine I've spent suffering under her spell...
