LIVING RIGHT IS SUCH A POSSIBILITY

For many times I have heard people talk about abuse. I just knew that abuse was a word and it stood for something but I really did not understand the true meaning of that word.

So many people talked about how they were abused from childhood and some of them even while they were adults. Many times, I thought that abuse meant maltreatment. But in all I have come to realise what abuse really means.

I have seen cases of child abuse where a child was deprived of all his privileges. Sometimes I ask why on earth should someone be treated with so much hatred. But over and over again I haven't gotten an answer to that question.

Victory is a young boy who grew up to know only his mother and his stepfather. He lived with them together with his step sisters and brother. For me victory is a clear definition of child abuse. He has been deprived of every single right and privilege a child is supposed to have. Victory has never been to school for a day. All that he does is still back at home and work his ass out all day. He takes care of all the house chores but then he doesn't eat good food.

When I was taught ethics in school, I was told that in every society, there are things that are morally right and wrong and people are supposed to know the difference between the two. But then I wonder if truly people do follow ethics.

In our society today people care about only themselves. They don't really care about what other people pass through. They say that children are the future leaders but the way they treat the children doesn't reflect that saying. Some of them will even complain that the people in government are not treating them well, but they themselves do not treat the people under them well. Whatever the case may be, I feel that we should stand up and make things right from our own little space.

There are so many things wrong with the way we live our lives. We do not give unless we have in abundance. We do not care whatever the other person is passing through. All we care about is our own self and it's not right. We say things that hurt the other person and we think we are just living the life. Doing the right thing, at the right time, in the right way, and at the right places is all we need to have a better society. Minding the things we say and the way we treat others would go a long way in improving the society.

Our offsprings, our kids, and the children we see on the streets are all human beings and should be treated with love and care. The better life we desire should start from us!

A little smile can go a long way in healing a heavy heart. Let's make a difference!

Good morning from this angle... Much love!
