World Collaborative Music Initiative based in Canada!
Leveraging Cross-Country Online Music Collaboration Technology and Field Recording / Portable Electronic Instruments
OVERVIEW
@sequentialvibe will be spending the month of July in New Brunswick, near the mouth of The Bay of Fundy in Canada. The intent of this project is to leverage field recording and battery/solar powered electronic instruments to create a body of work that encompasses a hybrid of nature/ocean/wildlife sounds with technology. Recordings will be made in real time.
COLLABORATION
An open invitation to musicians from anywhere in the world will be part of this project. Currently @zekepickleman and @evileddy, both also of Canada have offered to contribute guitar, lyrics, spoken word and vocals. Also, local musicians from St. Andrews will be canvassed for inclusion in the process.
Using Internet based remote recording technology @sequentialvibe will collaborate with remote musicians in real time.
FUNDING - What is funding needed for?
Items required:
Purchase of a 4G cellular Internet hotspot and plan
Portable field recording device
Portable mixer
Portable Roland and Korg synthesizers/drum machines for music/sound generation
Solar panel array and battery system
WHAT WILL BE GIVEN BACK TO THE COMMUNITY
Daily posts on the progress starting in May
Recordings will be published on Dsound
Series of videos and live streaming sessions on Dlive

So excited to be part of this! It is nice to contribute music to the settm blockchain but to actually CREATE some, partially funded by it, for the sole purpose of sharing it exclusively here, AND with other STEEMians is fantastic.
