The Bible is the word of God
The Bible is the word of God
When someone says to believe, it is real when we ask him or her the question: "In what then?" The answers we get when we ask that question are very often based on the view of a church or person. Brethren in Christ, however, base their answer only on the Bible, which they consider to be the only source of knowledge and revelation from God. Nowadays this is being questioned by many, even in Christianity. As a result, most of the lost faith of the Christians in the first century. Whoever says to believe in God the Father and in His Son Christ Jesus must go to the Bible for it. There is no other book in which these two truths are written in their context. The believers in the early Christian congregations based themselves on the apostles' words, which testified to what they had seen and heard (1 John 1: 1-4 and 1 Peter 1: 16-18), and the scriptures, the books of the Old Testament. Thus Peter wrote, because of what he had seen and heard of Christ Jesus:
"And we think the prophetic word (therefore) the more firm, and you do well to pay attention to it as to a lamp shining in a dark place .... Above all, you must know that no prophecy of Scripture by self-sufficient explanation arises; for never has prophecy come forth from the will of a man, but, driven by the Holy Spirit, people have spoken of God. " (NBG + translation of 2 Peter 1: 19-21 from the original text)
His point is the divine origin of the scriptures. They have not been created for him by the human mind (science, philosophy, fantasy), but inspired by God. The same thing Paul said:
"However, remain true to what you have been taught and entrusted, well aware of who you have taught it, and that from childhood you know the Holy Scriptures, which can make you wise to salvation through faith in Christ Jesus. All scripture is inspired by God and is useful for teaching, for refusing, for correction, and for training in righteousness, that the man of God will be perfect, fully equipped for every good work. " (NBG + translation of 2 Timothy 3: 14-17 from the original text)
"And because of this we also thank God incessantly that when you received the word of God preached from us, you received it, not as a word from men, but what it is indeed, as a word from God, that also works. is in you, who believes ". (RSV 1 Thessalonians 2: 13-14)
The apostles did not bring new doctrine, but a message firmly rooted in the previously spoken word of God, and they saw the fulfillment of it in Christ Jesus. Through the gift of the same Holy Spirit, which inspired the writers of the Scriptures, they were able to place their words in the light of Christ Jesus. The gospel they brought is, therefore, the good message that the word of God, made known by his servants the prophets, has become a reality in Christ Jesus. He is the Prophet, what all the prophets had been looking for, the God-sent One to make his word known to all people. This is the letter to the Hebrews:
"After God had spoken many times in many ways to the fathers in the prophets, He has now spoken to us in the Son in the last days ..." (NIV Hebrews 1: 1).
Then by a comparison with Moses, who received the law through the angels of God, the writer indicated of what great importance the word of God's Son is:
"That is why we must pay more attention to what we have heard so that we will not drift away. For if the word spoken by means of angels has proved to be effective, and every transgression and disobedience has received rightful retribution, how shall we escape if we are not serious about such salvation first of all been proclaimed by the Lord, and by them who have heard it, have been delivered to us in a reliable way, while God also gives testimony by signs and wonders and many powers and by dividing the Holy Spirit according to his will "(NIV Hebrews 2: 1-4).
He thus accorded the same authority to the Scriptures of the Old Testament, as to the word of Jesus and the apostles. The evidence for him was the gift of the Holy Spirit through their laying on of hands. For the apostles, the gospel they preached was not a substitute for what is written in the scriptures, but the good message of their fulfillment in Christ Jesus:
"But I acknowledge this for you, that in that way, which they call a sect, I indeed venerate the God of the fathers, believing all things which are written in the law and in the prophets" (RSV Acts 24:14).
For those who believe in God the Father and in His Son Christ Jesus, the Bible (also the Old Testament) is, therefore, the only source from which he or she can draw. Then he or she does justice to the God Who says to speak in it through his Son Christ Jesus and his servants, the prophets, and apostles. The Bible is not a projection of the human spirit, as many believe. Paul wrote that no man would have conceived what God has stated in this:
"What no eye has seen and no ear has heard, and what has entered no human heart, all that God has prepared for those who love Him" (NIV 1 Corinthians 2: 9).
Question for consideration:
What is the convincing evidence that the Bible is the word given by God?
The word of God is a power to save those who believe it
Paul and Peter call the gospel, which they preached, the word of God, the truth, in the sense of no lie, no human invention; see 2 Peter 1: 16; Colossians 1: 25; Ephesians 1: 13 and James 1: 18. The proof that what they preached is the true and trustworthy word of God is its effect: it is a power of God to save those who believe it; see Hebrews 4: 12-13; Hebrews 1: 31; Corinthians 1: 17-18; Luke 1: 37 and Isaiah 55: 10-11.
Prophets and Prophecy
Usually prophecy is seen as a prediction of future events, but in essence prophecy is the word of God, and his prophets are people who act on behalf of God to make his word known to others. There is an illuminating parallel in Exodus 7: 1-2. Examples can be found in 2 Samuel 24: 11; 1 Kings 13: 20; 2 Kings 21: 10; 24: 2; Jeremiah 7: 25; Daniel 9: 2. The prophets, together with the priests, had to keep Israel on God's ways; see Jeremiah 23:22 and Nehemiah 9:26. God made known to them what He would do in response to the actions of the people; see Amos 3: 7. This way of contact with God had been chosen by the people themselves after He appeared to them at Mount Horeb and they were full of fear of the awesome phenomena that went with them; read Deuteronomy 18: 15-22 and 13: 1-5. Through the prophet Hosea, God said that prophets would also occur in later times; see Hosea 12: 11. First, Christ Jesus acted as the Prophet; see Deuteronomy 18: 15; Acts 3: 22 and 7: 37. Then appointed apostles by Him, in whom all the gifts were represented in 1 Corinthians 12: 28.

Thanks, bro
Jesus is the truth, the word and the life... The bible was given to man by God, except you don't believe Jesus died for our sins, then you can say the Bible did not come from God. Now because Jesus died for my sins, I know that his word is my strong will and power, and all those who run to him are saved. The Bible is God's gift to man to serve as a manual to guide our time here on earth.
