Ulog#208 Natalna Grille- San Fernando La Union, Philippines

After coming from a hike at La Union. I suggested to my cousin that we should eat at this place called Natalna grille. It is located at San Fernando La Union. We went here and here's our whole experience.

Me, my cousin and siblings decided to stay outside to enjoy the view of the sea. There were only a few people at the time I was taking photos but when our food came, that's when their tables were filling up.




I noticed that there were so much washed up seaweed

While waiting for our food, we decided to walk at the beach and look around. The beach was filled with washed up seaweed when we went there.

This was how the restaurant looked like from the sea side. It made me wonder what would happen to it, if it's high tide.

Here comes the best part about this trip. The food that we ordered. To start it off, we ordered Aligue rice, rice with crab fat. We loved its taste. My cousin and brother ordered 2 cups.


Here's my favorite item from this place Chicharon Bulaklak. This type of food is deep fried ruffled fat and it is usually served with Vinegar. One bite of this will make you fall in love with it. Bulaklak in English means flower, I wouldn't mind having a bouquet of these haha.

Fried Eggplant, for some vegetables. It was very tasty.


Pork Sisig this is a Filipino Dish that's composed of minced pork, chopped onions and chicken liver. It also had egg mixed with it.


Chicken Salpicao. The sauce was very flavorful and creamy. The meat was tender.


Dinakdakan, made of grilled and boiled pork parts.


Liempo, type of pork barbecue.

Overall, our experience here was great because all of the food tasted Heavenly. The environment was also nice and peaceful. The service was good and it wasn't too pricey.

I also loved the view. Before leaving we got the chance too see this breathtaking view. The skies were so beautiful. Too bad we couldn't see the sun itself but the colors that it brought were beautiful. I won't mind eating here again in the future especially if it's towards sunset.
