People have been copying each other's work for rewards. The problem is that now internet makes it much easier to do so and go undetected. Essentially, if you're on the internet you're likely to find someone who has copied your work and presented it as theirs.

what is plagiarism? In its simplest form, plagiarism is taking someone else's work and presenting it as your own. This can take many forms, including story, partiality and even direct copy/paste of someone else's ideas.

Basically, when writing about plagiarism on steemit, the first thing I wanted to clarify was how people find out if another author has copied their work.

Various sites offer different definitions of the term- one describes it as 'the act of using another person's ideas and words without giving them credit.

Threatening users with any type of physical violence.Not citing sources when using someone else’s material.Posting ‘not safe for work’ content without using the “nsfw” tag. Scams or Fraudulent offers.
