How are you all? I hope you are well. I am also fine by the grace of Allah. Today, I have come to participate in the second week of the Steemit Challenge SLC-S28/W2, organized by the Honorable teacher @ninapenda ma'am. She has brought us a delicious street food, converting local food to a global twist, whose name is "Local Taste, Global Twist!"| Creative Street-food Challenge!". I feel proud to participate in this challenge.

Bangladesh is famous for its street food. In every neighborhood, alley, and street corner of Bangladesh, you can find numerous street food shops. Various types of tempting street food are available in these shops. Such as jhal muri, fuska, chatpati, pasta, noodles, various types of kebabs, and many more. A common item found in every shop is pasta. Many people in our country like pasta. I myself sometimes make pasta. Today I will make that very familiar pasta in a new way in my kitchen. And of course, by giving it an international twist.
I know that pasta is a popular dish in almost every country in the world. But today I will make pasta in my kitchen in an American style.
The United States is famous for its creamy chicken pasta dishes made with cheese, butter, milk, and chicken. There are various types of pasta available there, such as mac and cheese, chicken alfredo pasta, and three-cheese pasta, most of which are made with a combination of chicken, butter, milk, and cheese.

Now I am starting to make our local pasta in the American style. Before starting to make American chicken pasta, I am presenting its ingredients to you.

Ingredients to make the American-style Pasta:-

Mixed pasta1 bowl
Chicken (Boneless)200 grams
Butter50 grams
Mozzarella cheese25 grams
Milk1 glass
Soybean oilas needed
Soyasauce1 tablespoon
Carrot1 piece
Onion leavesas needed
Ginger garlic paste1 tablespoon
Red chili powder1/2 teaspoon
Cumin powder1/2 teaspoon
Black pepper1 teaspoon
Saltas needed
Flour50 grams
Sugar1 teaspoon.

Using the above ingredients, I will make American-style pasta, and I am presenting its tutorial below.

🥣Step 1:-

  • First, I take 200 grams of boneless chicken, wash it well, chop it, and put it in a bowl.
  • Then I add 1 teaspoon of ginger garlic paste to the meat bowl.
  • Now I add red chili powder, salt, cumin powder, and 1 teaspoon of soy sauce one by one.

🥣Step 2:-

  • After adding all the items, I mix them. I mix them well for a while so that the spices are well mixed in the meat.

🥣Step 3:-

  • Now I put a pan on the stove. I add enough water to the pan.
  • Then I add enough salt to the water. Now I add a teaspoon of soybean oil. As a result, the pasta will not stick to each other while boiling. Each one will be separate and will fall apart.

🥣Step 4:-

  • Now I put the mixed pasta in the pan and cook it for 8-10 minutes.
  • And keep an eye on the pasta so that it does not overcook.

🥣Step 5:-

  • When the pasta is cooked, I drain the water with a sieve.
  • Now I put another pan on the stove. And I add a lot of soybean oil there.

🥣Step 6:-

  • When the oil in the pan is hot, I put the mixed meats in the pan.
  • I fry the meats in the oil for 4-5 minutes.

  • When it is well fried, I put the onion slices in it. And I fry it for a while.

🥣Step 8:-

  • Now I will use another saucepan. I put the saucepan on the stove; I add 50 grams of butter there.
  • When the butter has melted in the heat, I add 50 grams of flour there.

  • I fry the flour and butter together for a while.
  • Then I add a glass of milk to the saucepan.
  • Now mix all the items for a while so that there are no lumps.

  • Now I add 1 spoon of sugar to the saucepan.
  • And add enough salt.
  • Now I add 1 spoon of chili powder, and mix well.

🥣Step 11:-

  • Now I add the mixed meat and mixed vegetables.
  • Keep stirring all the items.
  • Now I add 50 grams of mozzarella cheese. And I mash it until it thickens.

🥣Step 12:-

  • I have reached the final stage of making delicious American-style pasta. Now I put the cooked pasta in the saucepan. And I add it to the previously prepared chicken, butter, milk, and cheese mixture.
  • I mash it for two to three minutes. The delicious pasta is already ready.
  • When the pasta cools down, I pour it into a bowl.

Which country or culture inspired your combination? Give a clear explanation about your inspiration.-

Today's pasta is made in the American style. I was first thinking about making pasta. I was observing the different ways of making pasta in each country. I was learning about the ingredients used in making pasta and how healthy they are.
I saw that American pasta is made with a combination of many balanced ingredients. For example-

  • chicken meat, which provides protein.
  • Milk is a great source of protein.
  • Besides, butter cheese also contains nutrients.
  • I also saw that various types of vegetables provide vitamins.

For these reasons, I am interested in making pasta in the American style.
While preparing a dish, its nutritional content and its taste are big issues. If the food does not have nutritional content and if it does not have enough taste, then the purpose of cooking is defeated. But the pasta I made has a combination of sufficient nutritional content, and the taste is excellent.
Also, I heard that the food is a dish that is typical American dish. So, I transformed the local pasta into American pasta.

What new flavor, or presentation did you create?

Before answering this question, I need to know how to make local pasta? Local pasta is made with eggs, chicken, soy sauce, and some vegetables.
To give this dish a global twist, I have added milk, butter, cheese, black pepper, cumin powder, etc.
Another thing is that local food is made by frying the pasta completely in oil. But American pasta is made with butter, cheese, and milk; here, there is not much contact with soybean oil.
Due to the mixture of butter cheese and milk, the pasta has got a new dimension, and there is also a novelty in the taste. Which I have never enjoyed before.

How do you think people would react if this food was sold on the street? Explain!

I am a job holder, not a businessman, but I like the different foods available on the street. And I also eat street food. I understand the taste of street food, as well as what kind of food customers like.
From that experience, I can say that if American-style pasta is sold in a shop instead of selling local pasta, it will be much more acceptable to the customers. Customers will happily enjoy this new level of food. This food is not only relatively delicious but also has high nutritional value.
So, in my opinion, all street food shops that want to sell delicious and nutritious pasta can sell this food. I believe that this will have a high chance of business success.
