I will do that for sure :) was December last year all around Thailand and did love it there. Hahaha ok, you got me with that coffee, will give it a try. And even you say don’t look how it’s made - I will look at it after I tried it haha.

Monkeys can carry rabies, especially in SE Asia. Not a good idea to go where they can jump on you and scratch, bite or get their saliva on you. There are tons of medical journal and other articles online about monkeys causing rabies in humans. Also, many poorer countries don't have readily available all the shots needed if bitten and thus people may have to fly out immediately to start a rabies series in a country that has a good supply.
agreed to skip monkey forest... they're extremely aggressive. venture you the outskirts of Ubud to see some monkeys in their natural environment. so chill🤘
Carry a stick with you and you'll be safe from monkeys. The locals hit aggressive monkeys with sticks, so whenever you raise your stick near them they'll run away.

Meh, the Ubud monkey forest is pretty damn touristy. There are park rangers everywhere and the monkeys are isolated and pretty well monitored. It’s not too risky there.
